Socio.cultural artistic project that explores the tension caused by illegal journeys by boat between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. The project proposes a rest stop in the middle of the the Mona Channel for travelers from both countries. A neutral zone where different social groups traveling for different reasons meet without distinction. This was done in collaboration with art collective SHAMPOO and architects Gustavo Moré, Eduardo Veras and Jorge Santiago for the 3rd Polygraphic Triennial in Puerto Rico and selected for the exhibition “Infinite Island” in Brooklyn Museum of Art NYC.
